@SunshineMoonlight: the fact that it's not a typical comic cover is exactly the reason it has to change, unfortunately ;__; it doesn't sell well because people see it and don't even realize it's a comic. ones with artwork on the front, like the one i did called "ukin", sell so much better. i was talking about it with a publisher, and he said that the foresty hemlock cover would do well in a bookshop, but not a comic shop.
@Mimi-Evelyn: ulla is actually the only character i don't have a hair colour for ;D her hair was meant to be light, actually, but somehow in the comic it became black...mostly to differentiate her from lumi i guess!

Hmm, covers are no easy work. I like the #1 one very much.It's not the typical comic cover, that's why I love it.
Anyway I'm sure you'll make the #2 also superawesome. So now we wait. ^_^

This is great, I especially love the shading and the extra detail, it gives it a great deal more depth.

I must say your style defines each character perfectly. I can just tell by this picture what kind of woman she is.

Ulla looks fantastic in this picture! She looks so deviously alluring. I love how you draw her eyes too, like she's being conniving as usual. I adore the colors.

i've now finished the interior stuff for hemlock #2, i'm working on the cover today. this may or may not be part of it, i'll let you know when i'm not tearing my hair out over it D: i tried and tried to make a cover that would match #1, but it was a one hit wonder apparently. if i do a drawn cover for #2, i'll make a matching variant/second edition cover for #1.
